Let's dive deep into the nature

13 Aug 2021,
Being a Troglodyte I rarely come out of my cave (room). But some places are worth coming out of your comfort zone. And Mandle waterfall is one of them. Which gives you a mind-blowing experience by taking very close to nature.

Mandle is a village in Mahad taluka, Raigad district situated 10km away from the main town Mahad.
And let me tell you I'm born and brought up in Mahad itself and in all my 19 years of life this was my first time to Mandle. And now you must be realizing why I used the term "Troglodyte" for me!

If this place has fascinated a homebody like me then trust me an outdoorsy will fall for this place.

The best part of visiting this place is the beauty of not only the location but also of the entire journey, from Mahad it takes about 20 minutes to reach the village, and here's where you need to keep your vehicle and walk ahead to your destination for approximately 30 minutes ...
Nah! Don't be scared because rather than the destination the journey gonna be your favorite as you will be experiencing every little detail in nature and village life.
And I bet these days social media freaks will not be able to put their cameras down even for a second.

Your main journey begins from the village with authentic Maharashtrian households. Walking on those tiny pathways made from mud and cow dung gives you a very typical village vibe. Immediate after the village there is a river with a small bridge connecting the fields and village. And now you will be walking on the small pathway between the fields of rice and witnessing the eye and mind pleasing greenery. Make sure you are wearing shoes with great grip because chances of skidding are very high as you will be also crossing the river stream, clambering on the rocks near the waterfall. After all the adventure, here's our prodigious water body falling straight down in the plunge pool.
Rocks covering the plunge pool in C shape and a stream flowing vertically through it with the sun above blessing you with a rainbow.
The rainbow feels like a small bridge over your head touching opposite corners of the pool.
Diving into the pool and splashing water makes everyone involved in the game of revenge.
After enjoying in water, if you are lucky enough and the climate favors you with the sunny day you can dry up yourself by sunbathing by relaxing on the chill rocks before heading back towards the village enjoying the same small pathways in fields with the sweet voice of many organisms, slippery stones, river streams, bridge and most important smell of wet soil in fields.
This entire trip proves to be the relaxing therapy that shucks off your stress..
